To encourage the community to help us welcome our newest raptor animal ambassador, a Turkey Vulture, who found his forever home with NH Audubon in 2025, Community Outreach Coordinator Anita Fernandez (right) and Massabesic Center Director Kimmie Whiteman (left) began a joint art project in 2025. Just recently completed in June 2026, members of the public were asked to color a feather for inclusion in the Turkey Vulture silhouette. All contributed feathers were then attached and became a Turkey Vulture Community Art Project. This finished piece will be hung at NH Audubon as soon as a suitable place is located for it.
