Peeps of Paradise Point: Insects & Arachnids Empire

This event has passed.

August 10 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
For the second of three family-friendly animal tracks and traces walks at the Newfound Audubon Center, we will be focusing on insects & arachnids! By conducting a mini bio blitz, we aim to identify what kind of arthropods are calling Paradise Point home and how we can best protect them. Learn how to differentiate between insects and spiders and what the presence (or absence) of arthropods tells us about the health of our forests.
Participants are encouraged to bring cameras, gloves, bug spray, and a snack. We will provide magnifying glasses and other needed equipment.

By attending this event, you and anyone you register on behalf of agree to NH Audubon’s Outdoor Education Program Liability Release & Agreement Waiver. Please email Jake Morel with any event questions.

This program is free to attend. If you feel inspired to support New Hampshire Audubon’s work, please consider a gift to our Annual Fund at nhaudubon.org/donate.
