This year we have three staff members running the show at Newfound Center. They are working diligently to kick the season off right, including putting together the Red Barn Lecture Series, which will meet in person on Tuesday evenings in July (details coming soon). Stop by and say hello!

Katrina Fedors, Lead Naturalist
I grew up by the ocean in Southeastern Connecticut, where I developed a lifelong passion for nature. I received my bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of Rhode Island and my master’s degree in marine biology through the Three Seas program at Northeastern University. My areas of interest include invertebrates, human-ecosystem interactions, and animal behavior. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, singing, and exploring the trails of the White Mountains.

Adam Blankenbicker, Center Director
I’m excited to return to Newfound for my 3rd season as Center Director! I moved to New Hampshire with my family 3 years ago and we have fallen in love with the fantastic natural resources the state has to offer. I grew up in Connecticut and have always had an interest in the outdoors. My passion for education and conservation, however, really grew when I went to graduate school in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and volunteered with the US Peace Corps in Guatemala where I taught environmental education. Now I have the pleasure to teach high school science for part of the year, and in the summer share a small piece of New Hampshire with folks like you!

Sullivan “Sully” Blair, Center Coordinator
Hello everyone! My name is Sullivan Blair and I will be this summer’s Center Coordinator at Paradise Point on Newfound Lake! I graduated in May from Southern New Hampshire University with a degree in Environmental Science, where I studied plastic pollution in the Merrimack River. During my free time you can find me on the water or hiking up one of our 48, 4,000 footers the beautiful Granite State has to offer. There, I fully immerse myself in the White Mountains diligently scanning the canopy for both indigenous and migratory birds.

Adam Adds:
There are so many ways for you to experience and learn about nature around Newfound Lake and New Hampshire, and what New Hampshire Audubon is doing to protect it. Come for the trails and boats, stay for the Nature Center and public programs. Don’t forget we also have 2 locations to visit in Hebron just down the road from Paradise Point; Ash Cottage/Beaver Meadow, and Bear Mountain also have trails to experience more New Hampshire habitats!
