Welcome to NH Audubon’s Conservation Steward Intern, Lizzie Cheetham!
Lizzie grew up moving from state to state visiting the National Parks and wild areas along the way before settling down in New Boston, New Hampshire in 2016. Since then, she’s taken an interest in hiking, climbing, and exploring the natural wonders of the state. Lizzie is currently an undergraduate at the University of New Hampshire where she is pursuing a double major in Wildlife and Conservation Biology and History. This fall she will be entering her senior year where she will polish off her studies and prepare for her future endeavors in the field of natural resources. She hopes to eventually get involved with seabird research as she is passionate about conserving their habitats and understanding their behavior.
When she’s not on the trails, Lizzie loves cracking open a good book or sitting down to rewatch her favorite movies for the hundredth time. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family including her dog, Fenway!
