New Hampshire Audubon’s Carol Foss and Levi Burford recently co-authored a peer-reviewed paper on Rusty Blackbird migration with colleagues from Quebec. The paper, entitled “Euphagus carolinus (Rusty Blackbird) from two different breeding populations in northeastern North America exhibit chain migration yet use the same region for stopover,” was published in Ornithological Applications, a leading ornithological journal, and is accessible here.
