Welcome to NH Audubon’s Visitor Engagement Specialist, Clare Joyce-Maryea!
Clare brings over a decade of experience in visitor engagement and conservation focused management to the New Hampshire Audubon team. She began her career working with New Hampshire State Parks and the Seacoast Science Center, fostering community connection to local ecosystems through public education and outdoor recreation.
As a New Hampshire native, Clare spent her childhood hiking, exploring, and camping with her father and sisters. These experiences instilled a lifelong dedication to conserving local wildlife and natural habitats for future generations to enjoy.
Today, she brings her core values to her work, fostering inclusivity and respect with peers and guests, building on her belief that the small actions we do matter, and everyone has the right to feel safe and welcome in our outdoor spaces. She is always working in alignment with her personal mission that as the lucky few who get to advocate for our habitats and wildlife, it is our responsibility create spaces for memories to be made and communities to connect with our natural world. “That’s an honor.”
