We have some lovely new art exhibits at our centers. Visit the McLane Center to see Pierre Garand’s “Simply Nature” photography exhibit, which opened this past week, and the Massabesic Center to see Manchester Artists Association’s “Nature’s Gallery” exhibit, opening Thursday.
- McLane Center in Concord: Simply Nature is an exhibit of a relatively small portion of Pierre Garand’s catalog of Nature photographs. For nearly sixty years, Pierre’s primary photographic subject has been Nature. This exhibit comprises a tiny taste of Nature’s diversity, beauty, and even a little whimsy: Her landscapes, flora, fauna and the elements that support them. Meet the artist and celebrate the exhibit with us on March 6.
- Massabesic Center in Auburn: Opening next Thursday, MAA has compiled the Nature’s Gallery exhibit to celebrate creativity and nature’s beauty. Through a wide variety of styles and mediums, fifteen local artists have showcased a collection of original paintings and photographs that capture the images and colors of nature. Join us March 8 for a reception honoring these artists and their works.
Art exhibit viewing access may be restricted during private event rentals. Calling ahead to confirm is recommended.
