Welcome to Education Assistant Nicole!
Originally from Western New York, Nicole’s family spent most of their summers camping and hiking in the Adirondacks, Finger Lakes and in the Allegany Mountains. This time spent wondering the woods and walking creeks led to a fondness of nature being developed at an early age. This love of nature lead to Nicole pursuing a career in the environmental field. After graduating from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Studies, she worked as a Naturalist for New York State Parks and with the USFWS in Minnesota as an Environmental Educator. Nicole has also worked for the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation as a Wildlife Technician, spending her past three field seasons in creeks and wetlands working with the state’s threatened and endangered herps. Nicole is looking forward to exploring the New England wilderness and sharing their love of nature as an Education Assistant here at the New Hampshire Audubon.
