A FORSTER’S TERN was seen in Hampton Harbor on August 10th, and 1 was seen at Moore Reservoir in Littleton on the 11th.

At least 4 AMERICAN OYSTERCATCHERS, 5 ATLANTIC PUFFINS, and an ARCTIC TERN were seen at the Isles of Shoals during the past week.

A BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER was seen at Elm Brook Park in Hopkinton on August 6th.

4 SHORT-BILLED DOWITCHERS were seen at Meadow Pond in Hampton on August 6th. A STILT SANDPIPER was seen at Pickering Ponds in Rochester on August 5th, and a SANDERLING was seen here on the 9th.

Approximately 300 SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS and 300 SEMIPALMATED SANDPIPERS were seen at Plaice Cove in Hampton, all on August 10th.

2 SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS and more than 50 LEAST SANDPIPERS were seen at the Rockingham Recreation Trail in Newfields on August 1st.

A LAUGHING GULL was seen at Moore Reservoir in Littleton on several days during the past week, and a GREAT BLACK-BACKED GULL was seen in Manchester on August 6th.

A YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was seen at Star Island, and possibly the same bird was seen in Hampton Harbor, on August 7th.

4 LITTLE BLUE HERONS were seen at Parson’s Creek salt marsh in Rye, 1 was seen at Odiorne Point State Park, 2 were seen at Meadow Pond in Hampton, and 1 was seen at Scruton Pond Farm in Barrington, all during the past week.

3 SNOWY EGRETS were seen at Adam’s Point in Durham on August 9th, and 1 was seen at Jackson’s Landing in Durham on the 6th.

2 BLACK VULTURES were seen in Hudson on August 10th, 1 was seen in Lebanon on the 9th, and 1 was seen in Walpole on the 7th.

A SANDHILL CRANE was seen at 5053 Route 302 in Woodsville on August 6th.

A GRASSHOPPER SPARROW was reported from Short Street at the Pease International Tradeport in Newington on August 11th.

6 ORCHARD ORIOLES were seen at a private residence in Stratham on August 7th, 3 were seen at Odiorne Point State Park in Rye on the 10th, and 1 was seen in Elm Brook Park in Hopkinton on the 10th.

23 BANK SWALLOWS were seen near the Connecticut River in Charlestown on August 10th, and a PURPLE MARTIN was reported from River Road in Claremont on the 11th.

A RING-NECKED DUCK was seen at Pickering Ponds in Rochester on August 8th.
