NH Audubon Expands Expertise at NHEE’s Professional Development Conference

(by Marc Nutter)

At a sold-out professional development conference, NH Audubon’s Project Implementation Specialist, Willa Coroka, took the stage to share invaluable insights and practical strategies. Her presentations aimed to foster keen observation skills and bolster learning objectives, both within classrooms and beyond. Hosted by New Hampshire Environmental Educators, the 2024 Annual Conference and Annual Meeting attracted 85 educators from diverse backgrounds, all eager to exchange best practices for engaging students in outdoor education.

Willa Coroka, representing NH Audubon as an NHEE organizational member, showcased her expertise during the opening panel discussion and led an afternoon session focused on the organization’s middle school-aged Peregrine Falcon curriculum, which she meticulously developed over several years. We take immense pride in Willa’s work and effort to impart her knowledge and experience with others.

For those interested in delving deeper into our successful approach to fostering scientific observation and inquiry among students and request the program for your class or group, we invite you to explore our website.
