Manchester’s Brady Sullivan Peregrine Cam is up and running! Exciting things are already happening. The mated pair actively defended their home turf during an annual nest box cleaning that NH Audubon conducted in mid-February. A week later, on February 23, an extra intruding adult falcon paid a visit and stirred up more trouble. Online viewers have enjoyed close-up views of happenings at the Brady Sullivan nest box since Spring 2003, thanks to a series of better and better nest cams installed by Peregrine Networks (PN).

PN is a NH-based wireless communications company that has donated hardware, software, and technical services to make viewing possible. We want to salute long-time PN employee Dennis Greenwood, the lead technician who has kept the system running since cams were first installed more than 20 years ago. Thanks also to PN’s Bret Clark, for coordinating this exceptional resource that is used by bird-lovers, teachers, and others. Peregrines have nested successfully every season for 23 consecutive years and fledged a total of 74 young in that time.
