I know we share a common love of our state’s wildlife and the diverse and beautiful habitats we all enjoy. Our common ground is the basis for why New Hampshire Audubon’s work is so important; it unites us in a commitment to ensure our natural environment persists for us and for future generations.

At our recent Enchanted Forest evening event, it was wonderful to see children and their families walk on our trails, lit by jack-o-lanterns and candles. As one person said, this is one of the few Halloween events where kids can be in nature, in the dark, without fear. It was a magical experience and a chance for kids to learn about and feel safe in nature.

As the world continues to change around us, I assure you our mission and our work continue to provide hope. We know our work is more important than ever. We will continue to value science, collaborate with our private and government partners on diverse projects, inspire people with our education programs, and connect all people to nature. I invite you to go outside, visit our wildlife sanctuaries and centers, and with us, recommit to helping us conserve natural lands and all they provide.
