As you may already know, we are now up to 5 Peregrine Falcon eggs in the Brady Sullivan nest box. A 5th egg was laid on Easter!
One more educational spin-off related to the Brady Sullivan Peregrine Cam, an amazing service donated/operated by Peregrine Networks. As has been the case for several years now, elementary school children will come up with names for the 2021 falcon chicks. This year, two 3rd grade classes from Hooksett and Deerfield schools are involved in the naming. The kids are all watching every day with their teachers, and are so excited to learn more about the falcons. For example, in past years the chicks have been named for NH Trees (2019), and NH Towns (2020).
This year’s naming theme is “NH Covered Bridges” – stay tuned!
