Olivia is a new associate at the Massabesic Center’s nature store! A recent graduate at Southern New Hampshire University with a B.S. in Environmental Science, she kindled her lifelong love and passion for New England wildlife through her educational and personal studies. From a young age, she was deeply fascinated with the Audubon Society. Having joined the Young Aviators program at her local nature center, she participated in the annual BioBlitz.
During her time as a student, Olivia conducted field surveys and performed biodiversity indexing at local conservation areas in the Seacoast. She is committed to giving back to the environment by continuing to immerse herself in local volunteering, particularly in restoring native flora and maintaining pollinator gardens.
Born in Vermont and having lived most of her life in New Hampshire, Olivia is deeply inspired by the unique biodiversity and rich history of the Northeast, and her passion shows through her hobbies. She enjoys a wide variety of activities, including drawing surreal scenes, antiquing, raising/tagging Monarch butterflies, collecting bones and taxidermy, and viewing celestial events with her telescope.
