Join us as we brighten our winter days in search of spring blooms with this creative card-making opportunity with beautiful pressed flowers! Drop by the NH Audubon’s Massabesic Center between 10am and 12pm on Wednesday February 4th to make several unique cards with pressed flowers collected and preserved from the Massabesic Center gardens and the home gardens of UNH Extension Master Gardener Volunteers. Plan on spending an hour (or two) with us to create 1-2 greeting cards perfect for any occasion and/or Valentine’s Day. Each card will take approximately 45-minutes, and all supplies will be provided.
This in-person workshop will take place entirely indoors, in the main conference room. Dress for the weather for the short, easy walk from the dirt parking lot to the building. Workstations will be assigned in a group setting. Chairs are provided, but some of the work may require standing, and you may want to move around the room to select materials. Special accommodations for persons with limited mobility, sensory concerns, or other accessibility needs can be provided with advanced notice.
This FREE drop-in event is designed for seniors (age 65 and up), but all ages are welcome.
Activities will be led by UNH Extension Advanced Master Gardener Doris Buco, and UNH Ext Master Gardener Stephanie Hanson, both dedicated volunteers for NH Audubon.
An RSVP is required by Feb 2nd to help ensure adequate supplies. Walk-ins will be accepted if space allows. (Limit: 20 attendees.)
Inclement weather date: Thursday, February 5th, 2026. Confirmation of program date and time will be sent to all registrants on Feb 3rd.
This program is made possible thanks to grant funding from the NH Master Gardeners Alumni Association (NHMGAA).
