Another Beautiful Pocket Pollinator Garden Planted

Another Beautiful Pocket Pollinator Garden Planted

(by Willa Coroka)

Thanks to the amazing support of volunteers from near and far, the fourth Pocket Pollinator Garden is officially complete at Bakersville Elementary. Comprised entirely of native plants (some purchased; others generously donated), this sunny site was buzzing with bumblebees just days after the Bakersville third-graders installed them! This new garden will be used as a teaching station for both learning about native pollinators as well as discovering the ways we can help support them in our own yards and gardens.

For ways to get involved in future projects, please see the Pocket Pollinator Garden Docent tab.
