Thanks to the Land & Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP), NH Preservation Alliance, Arch Weathers Historic Sashworks, and supporters like you, NH Audubon finished a window restoration project at the historic Ash Cottage in Hebron this past fall. The building, located near the Paradise Point Nature Center and Newfound Lake, is used for seasonal staff housing and to host summer programming. Using LCHIP funds and a 1772 Foundation grant, and following a planning study through the NH Preservation Alliance, NH Audubon worked with Arch Weathers Historic Sashworks for window and casing repairs. We appreciate Arch’s time and expertise on the project; to see more of his work please stop by Ash Cottage or browse his website. We look forward to continuing these restoration efforts in the coming year to bring back the full functionality of the building for our staff and visitors alike.
