Join Ponemah Bog Wildlife Sanctuary Naturalist and Steward Jake Caires and Project Manager Anita Fernandez on this guided tour of the sanctuary. We will be utilizing iNaturalist and eBird to documents species both seen and heard during this group outing. You do not need any experience with these data collection platforms to participate (cell phones, cameras, and binoculars are all encouraged to bring). Please be prepared for the weather and dress for trail conditions that could included exposed roots, uneven terrain, and trail sections with standing water. Most of this trail is even or a boardwalk, but not wide enough to allow for mobility devices. Hiking sticks are welcome depending upon preference. There is also the possibility of encountering biting insects.

Entering in 6 Rhodora Drive in Amherst into your navigation system will get you to the parking area, where the group will meet.
