New Hampshire Audubon’s mission is to protect NH’s natural environment for wildlife and for people. We envision a world where people lead happier and healthier lives by connecting with nature and finding inspiration to conserve and enjoy the environment they love. Your donation during NH Gives will help make this vision a reality, and you can make a gift anytime by visiting our own Donation Page.
Founded in 1914 with an original focus on protecting and restoring migratory bird populations, today’s NH Audubon provides:
- Environmental education programs throughout the state
- Statewide conservation research and wildlife monitoring
- Land stewardship of nearly 10,000 acres of wildlife habitat in 40 sanctuaries
- Environmental public policy and science-based advocacy
A nonprofit, statewide membership organization independent of the National Audubon Society, NH Audubon operates three centers in Auburn, Concord, and Hebron and manages 40 wildlife sanctuaries.
