Small-scale production of berries can be a rewarding investment, but not without its own management challenges! In this workshop, we’ll focus on blueberries, brambles (blackberries and raspberries,) and strawberry production for the backyard gardener, covering topics that include varieties, establishment, maintenance, pruning, and major pest and disease management. Weather permitting, we’ll walk out to the UNH Extension Demonstration Gardens where we’ll see some techniques in practice. Appropriate footwear is helpful.
