The Rusty Blackbird is a species of conservation concern that spends its entire life cycle in North America.  New Hampshire Audubon has been studying a breeding population of Rusty Blackbirds in northern New Hampshire and adjacent Maine since 2010.  This presentation presents basic natural history of the species and shares what we have learned during more than a decade of following these intriguing birds through northern swamps and softwood thickets.
