Join us for the second workshop in our NHEE Winter Learning Series!
New Hampshire Audubon’s Massabesic Center Education Coordinator, Slater Roosa, shares how birds help forge connections with the natural world around us. Enjoy an hour-long birding hike with us to discuss how birds can facilitate learning in a myriad of STEAM topics for people of all backgrounds and abilities. We’ll share our successes with both stand-alone programs and longitudinal programs to demonstrate how you can get started developing your own curriculum. Being an expert birder is never required to teach excitement and love for birds!
Dress for the weather. In the event of rain, the entire program will take place as an indoor discussion. Space is limited to 12 participants.
