Isabella Giancola is joining us as an Education Assistant! Isabella recently graduated from Wheaton College MA with a B.A. in Environmental Science. At Wheaton, she discovered her love for conservation and education through researching vernal pools and working as a teaching assistant for various biology and environmental science courses. Aside from her academic endeavors, Bella has spent the past few years gaining conservation and teaching experience working at Pawtuckaway State Park and serving an Americorps term as a Watershed Steward at Newfound Lake Region Association.
Born and raised in New Hampshire, Isabella loves anything that gets her outdoors, including swimming, paddleboarding, hiking, and snowboarding. She also enjoys painting and art, and is currently learning to play guitar. She loves to travel and has helped organize multiple service-learning trips through her alma mater to assist with habitat restoration and learn about pressing environmental issues worldwide. While she’s always looking for her next adventure, Bella is eager to assist with education programs and work with our wonderful animal ambassadors at NH Audubon. As an Education Assistant, Isabella hopes to inspire and foster a love for the environment in the next generation of community members and scientists.
