As of April 11, the New Hampshire General Court had acted on all introduced bills in their chamber of origin. The full House had voted on all House bills, and the full Senate had voted on all Senate bills. Surviving bills have now crossed over to the second chamber for another round of hearings. Of the 75 bills that NH Audubon has been following, 34 made it through crossover. Of the remaining bills, 17 were voted inexpedient to legislate, 14 were referred for interim study, 8 were laid on the table, and 2 were indefinitely postponed.
Bills we are following into the final weeks of the session address carbon credits, climate change, cyanobacteria, energy policies, PFAs, solid waste management, water quality, and pesticides.
