Both opening January 3, 2025, the McLane and Massabesic Centers will each have new art exhibits on display for the months of January and February. Visit the McLane Center to see Diane Crespo’s “Painting the Natural Landscape” oil painting exhibit and the Massabesic Center to see Cameron Johnson’s “Wildlife of New Hampshire” photography exhibit.
McLane Center in Concord: Nature is all around us and artist Diane Crespo is drawn to capturing the essence of the landscape in her vivid oil paintings. From the mountains to the sea, all across New England, nature’s beauty is ever-changing and beckons to be painted. In ‘Painting the Natural Landscape’ you will discover scenes across New England through the eyes of the artist. Celebrate the exhibit with Diane and NH Audubon staff at the artist’s reception on January 9.
Massabesic Center in Auburn: From the majestic White Mountains of the North, to the rocky shores of the New Hampshire coast, and even simply in his own backyard, Cameron Johnson has searched far and wide to document the different species that inhabit the Granite State. His photographs show the breadth of ecological diversity close to home. Enjoy this exhibit with Cameron and NH Audubon staff at the artist’s reception on January 4.
