Description: This workshop will introduce food preservation techniques. We discuss proper and safe ways to preserve food at home through freezing, drying, lacto-fermentation, refrigerator pickling, water-bath canning, and pressure canning. You will learn where and how to find trustworthy recipes, the equipment needed for different methods of home preservation, and how to gain confidence in your skills to make your harvest last.
