Welcome to NH Audubon’s new Facilities Assistant, Jessi Dangir!
Jessi is a woman with many nature and local-based passions. When she’s not promoting vibrant artwork and oddities for her business, she can be found exploring New England with her three beloved dogs and her partner-in-art wife. In the summer, the beach calls to her, where she soaks up the sun and salty air. Jessi also has a unique interest in breeding and keeping tarantulas. She is fascinated by their intricate lives. You can usually find her with a camera in her hand while exploring, with a love of photography and catching memories on film.
Jessi grew up in the New England area, as a New Hampshire native with close roots in Vermont. She traveled out of New England in her early 20s while showing horses in South Carolina. Upon her return, she dedicated her time to working on numerous local farms, caring for a wide array of farm animals, both large and small. Her passion for animals led her to later work extensively with shelter animals, where she gained experience in the medical, behavioral, and animal control fields. Jessica’s commitment to animal welfare extends to her personal life, where she continues to foster orphaned kittens for the local SPCA.
Her diverse pursuits reflect her curiosity and appreciation for both the delicate and the wild aspects of the natural world around her.
