DESCRIPTION:Join us for a 3-mile round-trip guided walk up Mount Prospect via the auto road\, with an 800-foot vertical climb. We will be searching for migrating spring warblers at this birding hotspot. After our walk on the mountain\, we will drive to nearby Martin Meadow Pond to look for loons\, eagles\, and wetland birds. \nThursday 14 May 2026. 7-11am. Weeks State Park. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 25th Annual Pondicherry Migratory Bird Day with a 3W birding event\, where we will look for warblers\, woodpeckers\, and waterfowl. We’ll walk 3 miles round trip on flat terrain to Cherry Pond\, with an option to add another 2 miles round trip to Little Cherry Pond\, searching for warblers and the elusive black-backed woodpecker. We often spot 90 or more bird species\, along with wildflowers and wildlife. Free Migratory Bird Day posters will be available. \nSaturday 16 May 2026. 6am-12pm. Pondicherry National Wildlife Refuge.
