These gardens present opportunities for home and community gardeners to observe and learn best practices in a beautiful natural setting. \nAs an additional benefit\, we donate most of our fresh vegetables and herbs to the Families in Transition Food Pantry and Dining Services in Manchester. We also provide vegetables for our favorite Animal Ambassadors who reside at the Massabesic Center. In 2024 we harvested about 543 pounds of vegetables and herbs. \nSome of these photos are simple direct views of the harvest in the field\, with vegetables and herbs dutifully lining up to be weighed and counted.
