SUMMARY:Motus: A New Revolution in Migration Research with Dr. Carol Foss
DESCRIPTION:New Hampshire Audubon is part of a collaboration that has recently installed 50 receiving stations for tracking radio-tagged migrants across New England’s skies\, including one at the Massabesic Audubon Center. This in-person presentation will provide a brief history of tracking techniques\, introduce this exciting new technology\, and illustrate the travels of birds and butterflies detected by the Massabesic receiving station. \nThis presentation will take place indoors\, rain or shine.  \nPresenter:\nDr. Carol Foss\, NH Audubon Senior Advisor for Science and Policy  \nCost:\n$12 for NH Audubon members\n$15 for non-members (Become a member today!) \nRegistration EXTENDED.
