SUMMARY:NH Audubon Nature Challenge 2026
DESCRIPTION:The NH Audubon Nature Challenge\, a bioblitz type event taking place the last full week of June\, includes over 20 NH Audubon sanctuary properties and needs your data. We welcome all in the Granite State to flex your skills as a scientist and help us inventory all animals\, plants\, and fungi in a targeted data collection effort from Sunday\, June 21 – Saturday\, June 27. \nYour help is needed no matter where you are in New Hampshire; there is at least one included sanctuary in every region of the state and three locations that meet ADA accessibility guidelines. Using the free iNaturalist and eBird platforms\, which can be downloaded right onto your phone\, this weeklong event aims to document the birds\, mammals\, insects\, reptiles\, amphibians\, flowers\, trees\, mosses\, mushrooms and more that either stop at our sanctuaries or call them home! Visit one of the below NH Audubon properties (or many of them) and help us create a complete a living inventory of our lands. \nRSVP for our NH Audubon Nature Challenge webinar here. We’ll be reviewing eBird and iNaturalist as well as the included sanctuaries and some helpful tips for participating. SUMMARY:NH Audubon Nature Challenge Farley Meadow Guided Tour
DESCRIPTION:Join Nashua Conservation Commission officer Carol Sarno and Project Manager Anita Fernandez on this guided tour of the sanctuary. We will be utilizing iNaturalist and eBird to documents species both seen and heard during this group outing. You do not need any experience with these data collection platforms to participate (cell phones\, cameras\, and binoculars are all encouraged to bring). Please be prepared for the weather and dress for trail conditions that could included exposed roots\, uneven terrain\, and trail sections with standing water. There is also the possibility of encountering biting insects. \nPlease park in the lot of the Nashua Church of Christ at 97 Farley Rd. and gather at the trailhead kiosk. This tour will be limited to 15 participants so please be sure to register. \nBy attending this event\, you and anyone you register on behalf of agree to NH Audubon’s Outdoor Education Program Liability Release & Agreement Waiver. \n  \nThis guided tour is free to attend.
