SUMMARY:Birding Walk at Massabesic Center
DESCRIPTION:Join NH Audubon for a bird-watching walk along the trails at the Massabesic Center in Auburn. Your guide will be Joe Mahoney\, an active bird-watcher for more than 15 years who has traveled all around the country to find and study birds. Joe works in public education and he enjoys teaching and sharing his enthusiasm for birds and nature with people of all ages. All skill levels are welcome. If you are new to bird-watching\, come and learn the basics. If you are an avid birder\, come to share your expertise with the group and compare notes with Joe. \nBinocular rental included with ticket. Please dress for the weather\, with sturdy shoes. Expect to walk up to 1 mile over mostly flat\, but uneven trails through grassy and wooded terrain. Trails may be dry\, muddy\, or snowy\, but there will always be birds to study and enjoy. \nCost:\n$8 for NH Audubon Members\n$10 for non-members (Join or renew your membership today! SUMMARY:Seacoast Chapter Field Trip - Coastal Migration
DESCRIPTION:The trip will be a long walk around the varied habitats of Odiorne Point State Park\, the top birding hotspot in New Hampshire. We will look for the expected fall migrants and perhaps even a rarity or two. Meet at the Odiorne Point parking lot at 8:15 (the park opens at 8:00). A small entrance fee for the park is required.
