SUMMARY:The Balm for the Wounds We Bear Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:Visit the McLane Center to see “The Balm for the Wounds We Bear” exhibit by Kathleen H. Peters! Kathleen works with many mediums as an artist – such as pottery\, pastels\, paint\, cement\, wood\, metal\, and glass. This exhibit showcases her paintings and appreciation for the beauty of simple things. Kathleen shares that her technical background in engineering has lead to her understanding material properties of the mediums she works with\, allowing her to be precise and produce high quality works of art. DESCRIPTION:During this presentation attendees will learn the steps necessary to properly prepare their gardens for winter\, including: finishing off annuals and vegetable beds\, preparing perennial beds to reduce pests and disease\, overwintering non-hardy plants\, readying ornamental shrubs and evergreens to survive various winter conditions\, and tending to tools and supplies. \nPresenter: Ron Trexler\, Advanced UNH Extension Master Gardener. \nCost:  \n$10 for NH Audubon members and UNH Extension Master Gardeners\n$15 for non-members (Join or renew your membership today!
